Percentage Calculator

This calculator handles the three most common percentage problems people run into — finding a percentage of a number, finding what percent one number is of another, and calculating percentage change between two values.

Each tool uses a different form of the same basic relationship between part, whole, and percent: multiply to find a portion of a number, divide and multiply by 100 to find a percent relationship, or compare the difference between two numbers relative to the original.

Example: if a $200 jacket goes on sale for $150, the percentage change is ((150 − 200) / 200) × 100 = −25%, meaning the price dropped by 25%.
