Car Payment Calculator

This calculator estimates your monthly auto loan payment so you can plan a car purchase before you ever step into a dealership.

It first subtracts your down payment from the vehicle price to get the amount financed, then applies the standard amortization formula using your interest rate and loan term to spread that amount into equal monthly payments.

Example: On a $35,000 car with a $5,000 down payment, a 7.5% rate, and a 60-month term, you'd finance $30,000 and pay roughly $601/month, with total interest of around $6,074 over the life of the loan.
